DLR are pleased to sponsor the Mercury Garage/ Rex pet Hotel Subaru as John Griffiths and Nigel Wetton compete in this years Motorsport News Rally Championship.
The first round took place at the famous race circuit Oulton Park on the 4th November. Competitors tackled nine bespoke rally stages that involved the venues rally course, and track sections that run in both directions. The course featured multiple chicanes and water splashes along with other challenges that spectators have come to expect from such events. Competitor cars range from classic Austin Minis to World Rally Championship specials and everything in between.
In the end the Subaru driven by John Griffiths and Nigel Wetton ended the day with a result of a 5th in class and 9th overall position that takes them into the next round at Cadwell Park on the 19th November.
